Each gram of tretinoin cream contains tretinoin in a hydrophilic cream vehicle.

What To Expect | The HRT Club

What to Expect.

During the first few weeks of treatment, you may notice some skin dryness, redness, or peeling as your skin adjusts to tretinoin, which usually subside within two to four weeks. This typically subsides with continued use. Some patients experience a temporary increase in blemishes in the early weeks, this reflects the medication working on deeper, previously unseen lesions and is not a reason to stop treatment. Improvement is generally noticeable after six to twelve weeks of consistent use. Do not stop treatment at the first signs of improvement, your provider will advise when it is appropriate to reduce frequency or discontinue.
