Product Details.

Abigale and Abigale Lo are used after menopause to reduce moderate to severe hot flashes, treat moderate to severe menopausal changes in and around the vagina and help reduce your chances of getting osteoporosis (thin weak bones). Abigale and Abigale Lo contain a progestogen to decrease the chance of getting cancer of the uterus. If you do not have a uterus, you do not need a progestogen, and you should not use Abigale or Abigale Lo

What to Expect.

Many patients begin to notice improvement in hot flashes and night sweats within several weeks of starting therapy. Symptoms of vaginal dryness, irritation, and discomfort may also improve with continued treatment.

Your healthcare provider will prescribe the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with treatment goals and individual risk.

Safety Information.

Do not use Abigale and Abigale Lo if you have unusual vaginal bleeding, have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, have or had breast cancer or estrogen-dependent cancers, have a history of blood clots, stroke, or heart attack, liver disease and are pregnant. Estrogen-progestin therapy may increase the risk of blood clots and stroke. Do not use Abigale and Abigale Lo if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in it.
