Minoxidil 2.5 mg is indicated for the treatment of hypertension that is symptomatic or associated with target organ damage and not adequately controlled with maximum therapeutic doses of a diuretic plus two other antihypertensive agents.
Oral minoxidil is NOT approved for hair loss and should not be used off-label for this purpose without physician oversight.
